The Faculty of Health Science is a hub of excellence in research, knowledge and training. Our world-class professors work in our five academic units: Nursing, Nutrition Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Human Kinetics and the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences.

Research at the Faculty involves many important aspects of health throughout the lifespan, including women’s health, seniors’ health, health needs of Francophones in a minority context, Aboriginal health, physical activity and health, multiple interventions in population health, palliative care, rehabilitation and functional autonomy, health and technology, and evidence-based practice.

Our faculty fosters social innovation, creates and shares knowledge, promotes public policy development and builds research partnerships with the public and private sectors, as well as community organizations.
