Dr. J. Craig Phillips is awarded the Andrew Johnson Award for Exceptional Contribution to HIV/AIDS Nursing by the Canadian Association of Nurses in HIV/AIDS Care (CANAC).
The award recognizes the exceptional contribution made by a nurse working in the area of clinical practice, education, research, and/or administration to the advancement of Nursing’s role in HIV/AIDS care.

Innovative nurse-led HIV prevention and treatment program wins OHTN Award
Dr. Patrick O’Byrne, Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, receives the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN) Chair in Public Health and HIV prevention, part of the Endgame Funding Program, for his community-based project Nurse-led PEP, PrEP, and rapid HIV treatment: producing real-life impact for patients in Ottawa and Ontario.

Building on his extensive experience in protein and peptide chemistry, structure and function, Professor Udenigwe will chair a research program that supports the development of innovative approaches to the use of plant-derived proteins and peptides in the food industry.
