The School of Nursing is proud to announce that Shruti Patel has won the Marian McGee 2020 Awards. This award is granted annually at the School of Nursing to the doctoral student demonstrating excellence in advanced theory of nursing science.
Congratulations to Dr. Janet Squires who has been inducted into the Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing – FAAN. This is a prestigious honor and is reflective of Janet’s significant contribution to nursing and to the health of Canadians and others around the world, with her work in Health Evidence Implementation! Janet joins an illustrious group of professors in this honor (4 of whom are here at our School—Craig, Josephine, Dave, and Dawn).
Congratulations also to Krystina Lewis on her recently funded PI grant from Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada entitled “Implementing effective strategies to engage patients in making decisions along the implantable cardioventer-defibrillator care pathway: A multi-province comparative case study.”
