In 2018, ten students received recognition for the outstanding research conducted in the School of Nursing.
Professor Annette M. Cormier O'Connor ,was appointed Officer to the Order of Canadafor her foundational leadership and pioneering research in the field of shared decision making, through which she has championed patient engagement in health care-related decisions.
Professor Dawn Stacey, RN, PhD, was invited by Mr. Simon Harris T.D., the Minister of Health for Ireland, to provide the keynote presentation at their National Patient Safety Conference, October 17-18, 2018 at the Dublin Castle.
