Dr. Ian Graham, an Adjunct Professor in the School of Nursing, was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
Dr. Dawn Stacey and colleagues were invited by the prestigious Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) to submit a summary of their Cochrane systematic review on patient decision aids. The review found that, “Patient decision aids are associated with improved decision quality and decision-making processes without worse patient or health system outcomes.”
Dr. Marilou Gagnon is featured in Maclean’s and the Registered Nurse Journal for her work on opioid overdose prevention and harm reduction.

Krystina Lewis, PhD candidate in the School of Nursing, received the Student Award for Best Oral Presentation at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, October 21-24 in Vancouver. Her presentation was titled “Decision support for patients facing implantable cardioverter-defibrillator generator replacement: A feasibility trial.”
