FHS awarded 1.2 million in Fall 2019 CIHR Project Grant Competition

Congratulations to our researchers, all from the School of Nursing, who collectively were awarded over $1.2 million in the Fall 2019 CIHR Project Grant competition.  The FHS’s rate of success was 27.3%, the University’s 17.3% and the National 17.6%.

Wendy Gifford, Associate Professor, and Marie Des Anges Loyer DaSilva Research Chair in Community and Public Nursing for her project "Building culturally safe cancer survivorship care with Inuit in Inuit Nunangat”.

Janet Squires, Full Professor, and University Research Chair in Health Evidence Implementation for her project “Advancing the Science of Knowledge Translation: Measuring Context”.

Dave Holmes, Full Professor, and University Research Chair in Forensic Nursing for his project “Vers une compréhension phénoménologique du stress traumatique secondaire en milieu psychiatrique”.
