Works in Progress
Works in Progress (WIPs) meetings are monthly research-focused meetings to facilitate brainstorming, discussions and feedback on any aspect of research, including methodological issues. WIPs are designed for all members of the CRHN, including students, post-docs, faculty members and clinicians (held last Wednesday of each month from 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m.).
Community of Practice
Community of Practice (CoP) meetings are held the second Friday of every month (1:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m.) to provide an opportunity for graduate students to connect with one another as well as scholars to share resources and ideas, receive peer-support and build new relationships. These virtual meetings will include formal and informal presentations, discussion and debates about the graduate student experience.
Critical Reading Group
The aim of this bi-weekly group is to read and discuss texts by philosophers and critical thinkers that are not from nursing or healthcare. Through an exploration of various texts, we hope to arrive at new understandings and perspectives of the world within which we find ourselves.
Critical Reading Group meetings are held every third Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The next meeting will take place on April 9, as well as on April 23.
If you are interested in participating in any of the above groups, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
