Accessibility, it's the law! Information session for Faculty of Health Sciences staff members
The purpose of the new Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and to provide for their full participation in daily life. As of January 2014, the University of Ottawa will be required to comply with this law or face stiff fines. In some cases, employees and members of the Faculty who produce documents will be affected by these requirements and will consequently need to develop new work methods. As a first step, general information sessions will be held for staff members of the Faculty of Health Sciences* on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 9 to 10 a.m., at MNT 103, and from 1 to 2 p.m. at RGN 2022.
