Paige Johnston and Sarah Roy have receive student leadership awards from Physical and Health Education Canada. Each year, PHE Canada recognizes nominees from universities across Canada for their leadership in pedagogy and teaching of physical activity and health in the community.
Ms. Johnston received remarkably high praise for her pedagogical internship at Earl of March Secondary School in Kanata, and was one of the top students in our third-year pedagogy course.
Ms. Roy particularly impressed during her teaching internship at Collège Saint-Alexandre de la Gatineau. She also stood out achieving the highest grade in our entire internship program among the 180 graduating students who completed this experience.
