HK Students - Lounge

Students entering our undergraduate programs in the fall of 2018 will be able to pursue either a 6-credit internship (APA 4211) or a 6-credit research project (APA 4200) in their fourth year of studies, beginning in 2021-2022.

The School of Human Kinetics (SHK) is committed to ensure an enhanced capstone experience that will provide all of our students with an enriched opportunity to integrate and apply the different academic skills and knowledge acquired in our program in either a professional or a research setting.

All cohorts entering prior to fall 2018 will continue to pursue the 3-credit internship (APA 4111) and 3-credit research project (APA 4100). Human Kinetics students will receive information about capstone experience courses in their u101 orientation and they can also inquire about these courses in meetings with Academic Development and Student Retention Specialists. In their third-year of studies, all Human Kinetics students will be invited to an information session during the winter trimester to learn more details about these courses.
